Susan:   

Susan De Nicolo is an artist with studios on the Big Sur Coast and in Saratoga, CA. Her paintings can be seen by appointment at either studio.

Susan has found her passion painting abstract expressionism using colors and textures. She uses mediums such as oil paint, acrylic paint and mixed media on canvas. She paints on large and medium size canvases.

Her passionate original art is a display of expressive, colorful abstract paintings. She is inspired by the colors of life, music and nature all around her on the Big Sur Coast and her travels around the globe. Colorful art with movement and flow are her specialty. No two paintings look the same unless she is painting diptych or triptych style.

Some of her favorite artists are Joan Mitchell, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko and Wassilly Kandinsky, among others.

Le Coupe, a Susan De Nicolo Gallery, will be opening in Carmel-by-the-Sea in April 2023. The gallery will be located at Carmel Square, on San Carlos between 7th Ave and Ocean Ave.
